I am based in Brooklyn, NY! Travel up to 100 miles is included in wedding packages. If your wedding is taking place outside of this radius, I charge a flat-rate travel fee based on mileage. This fee covers my transportation and lodging for your date. Engagement sessions outside the immediate NYC area are subject to a custom travel fee, typically ranging from $250–$500+, depending on the location.
Yes! I have a few preliminary galleries located here. Upon inquiry, you will receive an investment guide with a link to view a handful of full wedding galleries.
All packages include film and digital images. On an average wedding day, I shoot 15-30 rolls of film; however, I do not promise a certain number of rolls or film images. I will use the best medium for the environment and lighting conditions, as well as my professional judgement, to capture your day. I don’t shoot film just to fill a check box.
Yep! After your wedding date, I’ll make a lil’ trip to my film lab and patiently await your film scans. Once I receive those, I’ll begin working on your sneak peeks. Sneak peeks are delivered within 14 business days, and final galleries are delivered within 8–12 weeks (4–6 weeks for engagement sessions).
While I have a loose mental shot list going into your day, I prefer to stay present and capture what is naturally unfolding. I do ask that clients provide a family shot list so we can keep that portion of the day organized and efficient.
You are more than welcome to share your mood boards and inspiration with me; I love seeing your overall vision for the day. That said, I won’t recreate specific imagery found online or emulate another photographer’s style. I encourage clients to review my sample galleries to ensure my approach and creative eye align with what they are envisioning.
Yep! The majority of weddings I shoot have complex lighting scenarios, including low light. While I have the proper lighting equipment, I love shooting ambient or no flash as it captures so much more emotion. You can see low-light examples in a variety of my sample galleries!
Yes, I have all of the required insurance most venues need. If your venue requires a policy that is greater than the standard 2-million liability policy, clients are responsible for any associated fees. This is very rare, however!
I do not offer video, but I have a handful of wonderful recommendations! Booked clients will receive a link to view vendor recommendations in a variety of categories.
My hot take: I actually think it’s an asset if I haven’t photographed your venue before. I very rarely photograph weddings at the same location twice, which keeps me creatively refreshed and inspired, and it brings a new perspective to your day.
If I feel that a venue tour would be helpful before your wedding day, we can absolutely set one up! I’m happy to do this with you or independently. If a site visit isn’t possible beforehand, I’ll arrive early on your wedding day and do my research ahead of time so I can feel prepared.
During your consultation, we will walk through the tentative logistics of your day. From there, I will piece together a rough timeline so you can gain a better understanding of what your day might look like/how I would approach your day. As your day approaches, your planner or coordinator will work on your timeline. The level of my assistance depends on their preferences!
A day-of coordinator or planner is required for all weddings I photograph. This isn’t just about keeping the timeline organized; it allows everyone to stay in their role and ensures your day runs as smoothly as possible.
While I’m always happy to collaborate with your planner or coordinator, having someone dedicated to the logistics allows me to remain fully present as your photographer. I can focus on what I do best: being observant, anticipating moments, and documenting your wedding as it naturally unfolds.
