Emma was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She understood how important it was to capture the day - not only was it our wedding day, but also I (an event florist) was doing the florals for our wedding and needed the photos captured beautifully. It was both an emotional and business decision wrapped in one.
We are slightly awkward people in front of the camera, but emma helped us feel comfortable and natural and move in ways that ended up looking true to us and, dare we say, editorial. Even more, the fact that she required that we do an engagement shoot with her was amazing. We were able to acclimate our own personal tendencies to her process in a two-on-one intimate situation. That was such an important part in helping us get used to her presence. On the day of our wedding we felt that we already knew her and it was key in helping her to capture those in-between moments: the truly magical stuff.
We received our preview less than a week after our wedding (insane turn around time) and were blown away. Everything was perfect. After showing to our friends and colleagues, they were so happy. One of our friends, another wedding florist, said that it was the best preview she had ever seen. And we agree. We got the final gallery less than a month after and it also delivered once again. We will treasure every single one of these pictures for the rest of our lives.

"It's hard to put into words how amazing Emma Melin is! She is talented, professional and a joy to spend time with —the whole package! From the beginning it was clear that Emma is super organized and experienced. She kept in touch over the months between when we initially booked and the day of the wedding and was super helpful as we finalized our day-of timeline and other logistical details.
